Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tucson

I really enjoyed my stay. It was a clean and beautiful hotel. Will come again!

My husband and I experienced multiple health and safety violations during our stay on June 20-25, 2025, at the Holiday Inn Express on 1564 West Grant Road in Tucson. We stayed in room 102. Five events occurred between the above dates: 1) An attempted break-in of room 102. The sound of someone struggling to open the window of room 102 in the middle of the night woke me up. I yelled at the attempted burglar, and the noise stopped. I called the hotel receptionist, and she responded, "Eh. It happens." When I asked her to call the police, she made a snorting sound and hung up on me. I don't think the police were ever notified. 2) Fecal material on our towels. I have included imaging that shows fecal matter on our bath towels. 3) Video of live roach in my room. 4) Video of black mold in my shower. 5) Loud party in the middle of the night. The noise woke me up, so I called the front desk. The same receptionist answered the phone and required that I tell her which room the noise was coming from. I said she should do that, but she disagreed. There was screaming and loud laughing, but nothing was done about it. Multiple times I spoke to different managers at the front desk about the various problems. Every day was a new problem. Roger Ocampo was especially difficult. Roger dismissed and discounted every single complaint. Then he said, when I was walking out, that he would send me a refund. He lied. I have here a copy of folio #217696, on which, at the very bottom of the first page, the last line, it says, "06-25-25 Visa 8414 credit $418.57." On the second page, it states the balance is $0.00. My credit card company has verified that Roger Ocampo never attempted to give me the credit he promised which is credit card fraud and deceptive business practices. I am informing multiple health departments, media outlets, internet sites, and legal entities of this deplorable hotel and management. Cynthia Yelton
